Check and read e-invoices in your browser

EInvoice Private app for iPhone, iPad and Android (coming soon)

Last updated 2026-10-29

EInvoice Private reads, checks and creates e-invoices (XRechnung, ZUGFeRD, Factur-X, Peppol UBL, Italian FatturaPA) in your browser, and your invoice never leaves your device. The app is being prepared to do the same on your phone. It is not on Google Play or the App Store yet, and nothing on this page can be downloaded today. The form below sends you one email when it is out. Every checker and viewer on this site stays free in your browser.

Phone app

The checkers and viewers on this site run in any browser. The EInvoice Private app is being prepared to do the same checks on your phone, still without sending an invoice anywhere.

  • Android: Coming soon
  • iPhone and iPad: Coming soon

    What the app adds

PDF and XML: do they say the same?

A ZUGFeRD or Factur-X invoice is a page for people and an XML file for software. If they disagree, your books get one amount and the page shows another.

    • Android: Coming soon Compares the visible PDF with the embedded XML field by field (number, dates, amount due, net and VAT totals, IBAN, seller, buyer) and lists every value missing from the page.
    • iPhone and iPad: Coming soon The same field-by-field comparison of the visible PDF with the embedded XML.

A whole folder of invoices in one table

Checking invoices one by one in a browser tab does not scale at month end.

    • Android: Coming soon Pick a folder or several files and get a table: file, format, seller, number, amount due, valid or invalid, first error and PDF/XML differences. Export it as CSV. Free: batches of up to 3 files; Pro: any size.
    • iPhone and iPad: Coming soon The same table and CSV export. Free: batches of up to 3 files; Pro: any size.

Open the attachment straight from your mail app

An invoice arrives as an attachment on your phone. You should not have to move it through a browser.

    • Android: Coming soon Open straight from your mail app or Files: tap the attachment and choose EInvoice Private. Also signed .xml.p7m files; the signature is checked against the certificate in the file.
    • iPhone and iPad: Coming soon Open straight from Mail or Files: tap the attachment, then Share, then EInvoice Private. Also signed .xml.p7m files; the signature is checked against the certificate in the file.

Want to know when the app is out?

It is not on Google Play or the App Store yet. Leave your email and we send you one message when it is.

One email when the app is out, nothing else. To be removed, write to support@einvoiceprivate.com. What we store.

What the app is planned to do

    • Open a Peppol UBL, CII, ZUGFeRD, Factur-X or XRechnung invoice and see whether it is valid, what it says and what to fix, using the official EN 16931 and XRechnung rule files on your device.
    • Compare the visible PDF with the embedded XML field by field.
    • Check a folder of invoices in one table and export it as CSV.
    • Create an XRechnung or a ZUGFeRD / Factur-X PDF that is checked with the official rules before you can save it.
    • No account, no analytics, no ads, no upload (privacy policy). It checks format and business rules; it is not tax, legal or accounting advice and does not send invoices to Peppol or any authority.

    Free and Pro

A free plan and an optional paid Pro are planned for the app; prices are not announced. See the pricing page for what is decided so far.
