Check and read e-invoices in your browser

Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-10-21

This policy describes what happens to information when you use einvoiceprivate.com. The short version: your invoices are read, checked and created in your own browser and never reach us; there are no accounts, no advertising and no analytics.

Who is responsible

This website is operated by SKYSEED TECH LLC. For any privacy-related inquiries, please contact support@einvoiceprivate.com.

Your invoices

When you choose or drop an invoice file (XML, PDF or a signed .p7m file), it is read by code running in your browser tab. The file, its contents, the readable view, the validation report and any attachment you download are not sent to us or to anyone else; we have no copy and no way to see them. To run the check, the page loads the official rule files, the XML schemas and the program files from this site; these requests carry no invoice data. A Content Security Policy on every page only allows connections back to this site, and each tool shows how many requests the page made to other servers.

What you type into the invoice creators (XRechnung, ZUGFeRD PDF, Italian FatturaPA, Swiss QR-bill) is used only in the open page and is not saved: reloading the page empties the form. PDFs, XML files and QR-bills are produced in your browser; checking the signature of a .p7m file also happens in your browser.

The free-invoice counter

Creating invoices is free for 3 new invoices per calendar month. To count them, the creators keep a small record in your browser’s local storage on your device: the month and a short checksum of each invoice number you downloaded (for a QR-bill: of the account, amount and reference) — not the number itself and no other invoice data. It never leaves your device. You can delete it with your browser’s site-data settings; the counter then starts again.

The contact form

The contact page has a form. If you send it, the name you give (optional), your email address, your message and the address of the page you sent it from are passed by our web server (Cloudflare Workers) to Cloudflare Email Routing, which delivers them as an email to support@einvoiceprivate.com. Our servers do not keep a copy of the message. To limit abuse, the server counts how many messages come from one IP address in 10 minutes; this counter holds no message content and expires after 20 minutes. We use the message only to answer you; the email is then handled as described under “Email” below. Please do not paste real invoices into the form.

The Pro waitlist

The other form on the site is the optional waitlist on the Pro page. If you submit it, we store the email address you type and the page it came from, use it to write to you once when Pro opens, and count interest. We do not sell it or share it. Write to support@einvoiceprivate.com to have it removed. The waitlist never asks for any invoice data.

Payments for Pro

When Pro opens on this website, payment is handled by our payment partner, which acts as merchant of record. It collects your name, email address, billing country, payment details and tax information to take the payment, issue the receipt and meet tax law, under its own privacy policy shown at checkout. We receive from it your email address, the plan you bought and its status, so that we can answer you and switch Pro on; we do not receive your card number. Nothing about your invoices is sent to the payment partner. Purchases in the app are handled by Apple (see the app section below).

Email

If you email us, we receive the address and the message you send and use them only to reply. Please do not attach real invoices; describe the problem or send a test file with made-up data instead.

Server logs

The hosting provider (Cloudflare) records standard technical data for each request (IP address, time, page requested, browser name) for security and to keep the site running. These logs contain no invoice data, because none reaches the server.

Advertising, cookies and visit statistics

The site shows no advertising, sets no advertising or analytics cookies and loads no analytics or advertising scripts. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first, and we will not add such a script to a page where you open or create an invoice.

The EInvoice Private app (iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android)

The EInvoice Private app is operated by SKYSEED TECH LLC, like this website. For any privacy-related inquiries, please contact support@einvoiceprivate.com.

Your invoices stay on your device. Invoices you open in the app (XML, PDF or signed .p7m files, also when you share them from Mail or Files), the validation reports, and the invoices you create are read, checked and written by code inside the app on your device. They are not sent to us or to anyone else. The app checks invoices without an internet connection; the official rule files are part of the app.

What the app stores on your device: your settings (language, appearance), the free-invoice counter (the month and a short checksum of each invoice number you created — not the number itself), and, if you use them, your company details, saved customers and items, your logo and — with Pro — the history of invoices you opened or created (including a copy of those files). This data stays in the app’s private storage on your device. Deleting the app, or Settings › “Erase all data on this device”, removes it. Depending on your device settings it can be included in your own iCloud or computer backup of the device, which is handled by Apple (on Android, by Google), not by us. The app collects no data from you: nothing is sent to us, and the Google Play Data safety form is answered accordingly.

No account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking. The app has no user account, contains no analytics, crash-reporting or advertising code and does not track you across apps or websites.

Purchases. EInvoice Private Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the payment and tells the app on your device whether the subscription is active; we do not receive your payment details. Apple’s privacy policy applies to the purchase. You manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings. In the Android app (Google Play), Pro is an auto-renewing subscription bought through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment and tells the app on your device whether the subscription is active; we do not receive your payment details, and Google’s privacy policy applies to the purchase. You manage or cancel the subscription in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions). The app has no purchase server of its own.

Links and email. Links in the app (this privacy policy, the terms of use, our website) open in your browser. If you write to support@einvoiceprivate.com, we use your message only to answer you (see “Email” above). Please do not send real invoices; a test file with made-up data is enough.

Children. The app is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13.

If you are in the EEA or the UK, we process the waitlist address on the basis of your consent (you can withdraw it at any time by writing to us), messages you send through the contact form or by email on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering you, and server logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure site. You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of personal data about you, to data portability where it applies, and to complain to your data protection authority.

US state privacy rights (CCPA and similar laws)

Residents of California and some other US states may have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion and to correct it. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights.

Children

The site is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Retention and security

Server logs are kept by the host for a limited period for security. Waitlist addresses are kept until Pro opens and we have written to you, or until you ask us to delete them. Email and contact-form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your message. The site is served over HTTPS.

Changes

We will change this page if what the site does changes, for example when accounts or payments for Pro start, and update the date below the title.
